We're looking for a passionate, customer-focused Curtains & Blinds Consultant to join our Hayle showroom. If you have an eye for interior design, enjoy working with people and love helping clients transform their homes, we'd love to hear from you.

About the Role

As our Curtains & Blinds Consultant, you'll guide customers through every stage of their window dressing journey—from the initial consultation to final installation. You'll provide expert advice on fabrics, blinds, curtains, colours and finishes while ensuring every project is delivered to the highest standard.

Working alongside our interior designers and wider team, you'll help create beautiful, functional spaces tailored to each client's style and requirements.

Your Responsibilities

• Welcome and advise customers in our Hayle showroom.
  
• Conduct in-home consultations and accurately measure windows and spaces.
  
• Recommend suitable curtains, blinds and soft furnishing solutions.
  
• Prepare quotations and process customer orders.
  
• Liaise with suppliers and installers to ensure projects run smoothly.
  
• Oversee projects through to installation and final dressing.
  
• Maintain attractive showroom displays and product samples.
  
• Keep up to date with the latest interior design trends, fabrics and window treatment collections.
  
• Deliver outstanding customer service from first enquiry through to project completion.
  

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is enthusiastic, organised and passionate about interiors.

Essential Skills

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  
• Strong consultation skills with the ability to understand clients' needs.
  
• Good knowledge of curtains, blinds and soft furnishings, including fabrics, measurements and fittings.
  
• An eye for colour, design and detail.
  
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  
• Confident using email, spreadsheets and other basic computer software.
  
• Strong numerical skills for measuring and calculating requirements.
  
• A full UK driving licence, with the ability to travel locally using company vehicles for consultations and site measurements.
  
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a friendly, multidisciplinary team.
  

Desirable

• Previous experience within interiors, furniture, window dressings or a customer-facing retail environment.
  
• Experience in interior design, textiles or soft furnishings.
  
• Relevant qualifications in interior design, textiles or a related field (although equivalent experience is equally valued).
  

Working Hours

This is a full-time position working five days per week across a six-day rota (Monday–Saturday), with rotating weekends off.

Salary

£26,000 - £28,000 per year, depending on experience.
